Whenever I read the story of Christ
I am thinking with great emotion
In the privilege that many had to see
Your face, feel Your hands

I too would have the same joy
To see You very close, right next to me
Look into Your eyes, serene and gentle

I wanted to know what Your face looked like
Although I feel that it was very beautiful
Inspired faith and also confidence

When seeing the engravings of the painted pictures

My being does not accept what is on the screen
