La Juventud Se Va

Today I wanted to contemplate
Those old portraits

That are faithful witnesses
Of the happy times

That we lived once in spring
Spring that will never return

Youth is leaving
And we are getting old

The children are no longer here
As they have gone far away

But the memories remain with us
Of the love from yesterday

And to think that life is passing by
And to think that the years as well

But it doesn't matter, in the end will remain
The happy memory of a yesterday that is gone
