Domine, Sana Me

I lie alone in the darkness
My heart faints with pain
My body weakens
And hope flees like the wind

No one is with me in the hour of tribulation
And the night stretches on in silence
O Lord, why do you hide your face?
I cry out, but no one answers me

Jesus Christ, you are my hope
You will not leave me in pain
I stretch out my hands to you
I believe in you, even in the darkness

The days pass without relief
There is no remedy for my heart
But your word is life
And my faith will not die

Look at me, Son of God
Touch me and heal my wounds
Only you can heal
Only you are the true Doctor

Jesus Christ, you are my hope
You will not leave me in pain
I stretch out my hands to you
I believe in you, even in the darkness

Even though my flesh may fail
My soul trusts in you
Lord, heal me
So that I may glorify your name
