Everyone does the best they can to be alright
I guess they didn’t know how to take a leap and got stuck
I wake up missing the lights
And they throw all the crosses on me
It hurts to the bone just to dream
You couldn’t, you didn’t know, or you didn’t want to, how can I tell?
And just like one day fear brought us together, goodness pulled you away
Who washes out a rainbow with their grays?
Who doesn’t get that this ordeal is sad?
Why do I have the urge to be so accommodating?
I don’t depend on you anymore, on your miracles
I don’t depend on your charms anymore
I am my own salvation
I don’t depend on you anymore:
To be happy, you don’t need to be two
Everyone does the best they can
While I sip tea from my pink porcelain, I whip up some coffee
I swallow the cold future of my fate and I can see
If the foam peels off stormy laughs
The window shows blurry images
I don’t need anyone to read it for me
It was more whip than just a fleeting crack
It was released, like a dagger from the sky and then it left
A souvenir without emotion or candy
Goodbyes that drag out all the grief
I’m climbing out of this pit like I descended
I don’t depend on you anymore, on your miracles
I don’t depend on your charms anymore
I am my own salvation
I don’t depend on you anymore:
To be happy, you don’t need to be two
No, no
Huuu, hu, hu
I don’t tie it to the sun anymore
I don’t tie it to the sun anymore, no, no
I don’t tie it to the sun anymore
Not anymore Lucy, not anymore Lucy
I don’t tie it to the sun anymore
