Jesus, beloved Shepherd
Gathered here today
Grant that we may be
One body in You
Strife and malice

United family we are
Family of Jesus
Enlightened all
By the same holy light
The same faith binds us
In one divine love
And with the same joy
We serve the Lord
On the same narrow path
It is God who leads us
We have no hope
Except in one: Jesus
Through precious death
He brings life to all
And by the same blood
Comes the same peace
Flock redeemed
By one Savior
We must be united
By fervent love
Look with sympathy
Upon a brother's mistakes
And help them all
With tender compassion
If Your whole Church
Lives in holy union
The name of Christian
Will always be blessed
Jesus, what You asked for
Will be fulfilled in us
And so the whole world
