Never will my lips cease, oh Christ
To bless you, to sing your glory
For I keep in my soul your immense love
Grateful memory!

When lost I wandered in distress
And in dense darkness my path followed
You sought me, sending from heaven
Light that guides me!

When oppressed by worldly yoke
In my ways I was distressed
Your tender voice gave me rest
Calling me!

To the strong arms I ran confidently
Gentle and kind, you did not refuse me
I know well that in prayers I can seek you
Never will I describe this blessing in life
However, it is possible that I may stray from it
Therefore, Lord, I need you

Earthly efforts, precarious fate
Human endeavor, wealth, whatever
Do not compare to the blessings of the divine kingdom
That's why I need you, my Lord. Amen
