Não Temas, Sou Eu

Do Not Fear, It's Me

Far away goes the boat
In the sea so serene and calm
Gliding over the waves
The disciples alone
Are rowing the little boat
Without Jesus accompanying

Suddenly the sky closes
And then thunders loudly
And starts to drizzle
Everyone became worried
As the wind wants to capsize the boat

The wild sea lashes the little boat with great force
And the worst is that they are alone without Jesus
And already tired of rowing, what to do

Just at the moment they felt they were perishing
From the mountaintop the master began to descend

There he goes walking, descending from the mount, calm
With a God's gaze contemplating troubled hearts
Arriving at the shore, the boat cannot take
To provide deliverance, what will Jesus do now

Reaching the end of the beach, the vast sea ahead
The contrary wind wanting to stop the mission
But when the waters perceived the master's walk
It turned into a walkway to pass over the lion

There goes Jesus, walking, walking, on the sea
And approaching the boat without sinking

But when they saw Jesus walking on the waters
They shouted in terror: My God, there comes a ghost
But quickly my Jesus, says these words to them

Do not fear, it's me
Calm down, it's me
Settle down, it's me
Encourage you, it's me
Rest, it's me
Trust, it's me
Rejoice your soul, my child it's me

I am your comfort, support
Rest, answer, refuge, victory, renewal
I am providence, Presence
Evidence, I am deliverance, for I change the sentence

Calm down, settle down, rest, encourage you
For the boat of your life will not perish
But if the sea wants to make you stop, I make you walk on top

There he goes walking, descending from the mount, calm
With a God's gaze contemplating troubled hearts
Arriving at the shore, the boat cannot take
To provide deliverance, what will Jesus do now
