Job
If someone tries to humiliate you because you are a believer
And believe in God, don't listen, don't listen
Just say that the storm will pass because
God is with you, with you
Don't let yourself be swayed by the voice of the oppressor
All he knows how to do is accuse
Don't give up because he's already lost
Now it's your turn to humiliate
Don't you remember that he went to God?
To say that Job would blaspheme against his Lord?
If the Lord were to let him consume all his possessions
Job wouldn't be able to endure it
Oh, Hallelujah!
But the man who is faithful in his purpose and fears God
It doesn't get corrupted, no, no, no
Even in the midst of the storm, Job rose from the ashes
And he worshipped the Lord
Job fell to the ground and worshiped
And he spoke loud enough for all of Hell to hear
I came out of my mother's womb naked
And it is naked that I will return there
Everything I had was from God
God gave it to me, and He Himself took it away
The enemy of God falls to the ground
And praised be the Name of the Lord, oh, oh
Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
God allowed the enemy to steal the possessions of his anointed one
He let the enemy kill his beloved children
He left himself wounded with sores
But Job did not listen
And his wife screamed very loudly
Curse that God and die!
How can you talk, you crazy woman?
You have now spoken against Jehovah
You gladly accepted God's goodness
And you don't want to accept evil
Everything I had was from God
God gave it to me, and He Himself took it away
The enemy of God falls to the ground
And praised be the Name of the Lord, oh, oh
From the Lord
(Blessed is the Lord)
