When I was diving deep in the ocean
I fell in love with a gorgeous mermaid
Out of the sea, without hesitation, I asked for her hand
And we got married on the beaches of Caleta
More than nine months went by, and nothing new
But just around thirteen, she got seriously ill

Just a year after we wed
With the face of an angel

Led me to Neptune's court
I was accused that on a Friday of sorrows

Since no one believed me, they sentenced me to die
