Don't Lose Heart
Why do you shut yourself in,
Captivating your senses,
Squeezing your heart;
And why do you cry like a child,
Abused and unloved
Because of some disappointment.
You think everything no longer has
A solution or remedy,
That the burden bends you
And you can't go on,
But I tell you, don't lose heart,
Jesus wants to give you
The key to continue.
You don't have to cry anymore
Because the Lord Jesus
In anguish and pain
Will be there.
Don't lose heart because
You are not alone
And in your journey
In his arms
My Lord will carry you.
Your heart weakens,
You no longer feel it beating
Like before, you see;
And you feel like everything has ended,
But I tell you, don't brother,
It's time to start.
He has promised to be with you until the end,
