O Teatro

How many times I tried
To solve my problems
I chose my own theme
I did my staging
I assumed my disguise
A fake smile
I prepared my track
Fantasy and nothing more

And on the stage of illusion, how many times I cried,
I almost despaired for not seeing a way out,
But Jesus entered the act, soon everything was changed
End of the play, the curtain fell
And the theater was closed

Now I am truly happy,
I no longer suffer from lack
My role today is real,
All evil has gone away
And I don't live in appearance,
I am part of this text
That God himself wrote
I carry my cross,
I am enlightened, but it is Jesus who shines
