La Última Carga

The Last Load
Here I come starting a new journey
Another day behind the wheel, what’s one more?
You get used to being alone over time
It’s tiring, but it is what it is
It’s not as easy as they say out there
I’ve had to put up with a lot of shit
To keep the journey going
Long stretches and feeling insecure
More problems from my personal life
But there’s no way I’m backing down
Every time I leave home, I pray to God
That the last load makes it to its destination
So I can finally catch a break
With the utmost respect!
The images I have on the dashboard
Motivate me to keep going for what I want
Not everyone understands this job
But I keep pushing forward and I won’t back down
I’m in this because I love to work
And I carry my dad’s passion with me
I’m not making excuses
Sometimes it’s the distance or the loneliness
But nostalgia hits me sometimes
Along with the feeling
And behind the wheel, I earn my living
If I get lost, I always find a way out
But I keep moving forward
