Each time slower are Jesus' steps
On that long road in Jerusalem
Tired, wounded, hurt, humiliated
There are no words to describe this scene of horror
On that dusty street, the marks of the cross go
His blood writes the story of a God of love
There's no one to help Him, many flee, many cry
His gaze almost fades, but He continues and doesn't stop
The hands, the feet, the nails piercing His body
