I sing because the present
is not of sorrow nor of tears
that's why when I sing
I sing what the people feel.

I am from the people,
I am the people,
and where the people take me
I go.

As singing is my job
I sing the hard effort
of building the future
with joyful sacrifice.

I go through the people
and hear their feelings
I pick them up and immediately
return them by singing.

What little I give, I offer
with joy and charm
I give my song to the people
because I belong to the people.

With serene joy
I sing what the people feel
and I sing because the present
