The boy asked for a star
inside a little bell
he wants it for his father
if he comes back to play with him.
The father looks at the sky
sees his boy bloom
the night is a garden in flight
and the wind is a carousel.
Through walls the smoke rises
across plains the steed goes
the river's water gallops
it can't be stopped.
The cloud that takes to the sky
will light a rose
the boy found the trail
and in the sun, his roundabout.
The boy asked for a star
inside a little bell
he wants it for his father.
if he comes back to play with him.
The house lights up the path
little paper star
the door opens slowly
in the shade of a laurel
dreaming that the dream passes
life starts to run
that they are together again
and the world will dawn.
The boy and the father know
that the fire will ignite
the sorrows will end, father
the night will come to a close.
