The Prayer
There where I cannot see,
Where I cannot be,
There are people I cannot help,
Solve their problems, but I know I can pray.
My fears and afflictions, my pain, disappointments,
I have learned to place my life on the altar
So I know I can pray and trust in God.
Prayer goes where I cannot go.
God promised to help me when I ask.
The prayer of those who love God can do much in His power
And when I am in prayer, anything can happen.
I am washed and redeemed, I need not fear,
For the blood of Jesus is what has the power
To make me enter the presence of God
There is no more hindrance to getting closer to God
