Cansado
Projeto Sola
Tired
I dare to arrive
After walking so much
With wounds on my feet
And wounds in the heart
It is a heavy burden
Shame and distress
I am miserable
I turn to your forgiveness
Tired, I come to you
I implore your favor
Have compassion on me
I am a poor sinner
Rich salvation
Infinite love
Heed the plea
From this prayer
It is a heavy burden
Shame and distress
I am miserable
I turn to your forgiveness
Tired, I come to you
I implore your favor
Have compassion on me
I am a poor sinner
Rich salvation
Infinite love
Heed the plea
From this prayer
I raise my voice to God and cry out
I raise my voice to God
So that you can answer me
Just as the deer pants for streams of water
Therefore, for you, o God, my soul longs
When will I go and appear before the face of God?
Have mercy on me, Lord
Because I am distressed
My eyes are consumed by sadness
My soul and my body
How long, Lord, will you forget me?
Will it last forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
Give ear, o God, to my prayer
Do not hide from my plea
My tears have been my nourishment
Day and night
While they continually tell me
And where is your God?
Where can I go from your spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there
If I make my bed in the deepest abyss
You are there too
If I take the wings of the dawn
And I linger at the ends of the seas
Even there your hand will guide me
And your right hand will hold me up
Is there any God as great as our God?
You are the God who works miracles
And among the peoples, you have made your power known
Why are you downcast, o my soul?
Why is there turmoil within me?
Wait on God, for I will yet praise him
To him, my help and my God
Cast your cares on the Lord
And he will sustain him
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken
Be strong
And may the hearts of all of you be revived
Those who wait on the Lord
