The coyote is cunning
And the badger is sly
Gentle and noble the lamb
And the pig snout
The rogue is sly
And the rancher simple
And the Indian cowboy
Lazy and gluttonous
Sometimes I wish to be
A turtle to run
A horse to fly
A mountain to travel
A fish to work
Short to grow
Drunk to not drink
Donkey to not carry
Brave to not fight
And faithful like a woman
Since this cannot be
