Sometimes I don't even know if a stage is my
freedom or my torment. I don't know if I can
keep going for another year, another day. If I've

is that I'm dead if I don't carry a
song in the little pocket of my heart.
That if I don't see the south, my roots rot. That
without a tune, I don't know what becomes of me. That if
I don't have the certainty of your love every
morning, everything I sing and why
I sing, love, love, is worthless.
Sometimes I look at people and my mouth trembles.
I can't miss the last note. And I wonder if
my laughter and my pain are in the guitar. If there will be
some message on the answering machine.
