Like a passing cloud is our life and who takes us
Who takes us is the breath of the Lord
We believe that everything belongs to the Lord
What He did, He did out of love

Like a passing cloud is our life and it doesn't matter
It doesn't matter about money or power
Happy is the one who, when that time comes
Is serene and prepared to die

We are all like passing clouds
No matter how many years we will live
When our final hour comes
The Lord will ask what we did

In heaven only the loving will enter
Those who loved as God commanded to love
Those who fought to see others happy
Will dwell eternally in heaven
