The Sun Sets
The sun sets and the bell tolls
To the sound of the Ave Maria
We return home after work
Feeling a great joy inside
When in the evening Our Lady
Stays outside trying to pray
The emotion felt in the chest is strong
One must be strong not to cry
When as a child certain moments
Of great emotion marked us deeply
The sunset, the house, and the dusk
That we hold in memory
Mary looks deep into my eyes
Wanting to speak of a great mission
There are people suffering and dying of hunger
I must fight for liberation!
