The sun sets and the bell rings
To the sound of Ave Maria
We head home after work
Feeling a great joy inside

When in the evening, Our Lady
Stays outside trying to pray
The emotion felt in the chest is strong
You gotta be tough to not cry

When we were kids, it left a mark
Certain moments of deep emotion
The sunset, the house, and the twilight
That we carry in our memories

Mary looks deep into my eyes
Wanting to talk about a great mission
There are people suffering and dying of hunger
I need to fight for liberation!
