The paths of our Lord
Only those who love have walked
Only those who dream have known
They are paths full of love
That not always the dreamer
Can understand
Someone told me they dreamed
They were on a beach walking with Jesus
And looking at the sky saw their life
So many roads traveled
Always in search of a light
And looking at the marks in the sand
They saw beside their steps the footprints of Jesus
And then they said
I don’t understand you, my Lord!
And looked at the ground
In the hardest paths, I don’t see your marks
Why did you leave me alone?
Jesus replied
The footprints are only mine, I never abandoned you
It’s just that in the hardest moments of life
