Obra de Misericordia

When I did the catechism, I learned a lesson.
I was so little, but I kept it in my heart.
Charity, fasting, and prayer:
Works of mercy and duties of the Christian.
Let not your right hand know what your left hand has done.
Charity is commitment, vanity has no place.
Those who do not act this way will not deserve the Kingdom.

When you fast, do not let it show in any way,
For it only has an effect for God if you have done it without anyone knowing.
