Dias de Escuela

It's seven, time to wake up
The school bus won't be long to show up
First, I've got History and English
Math comes after that
My hand hurts from all this writing
My eyes are already going numb.

The bell's about to ring
The cafeteria's gonna be packed
In twenty minutes, just like my lunch
I drop my tray and head back to class
But everything's alright, it's finally Friday
There's a party, and I got permission to go.

I get home and start getting ready
I call my girl, saying I'm on my way
I paint my sneakers, iron my jeans
And my brother won't get out of the bathroom
Gotta find my leather jacket
Fix my hair, put in my earring, and ask for some cash.
