Today I woke up thinking about you, Jesus
How wonderful You are
I felt a desire to talk to you
Tell you how precious you are to me

To tell you that I won't take a single step
If your presence is not with me
If I walk alone I will waver in my faith
And certainly putting myself in danger

So talk to me here, God
Tell me if I'm pleasing you
And see if there is any wicked way in me
Or if in spirit and in truth I am worshiping you

Have you seen love in me?
Or do I only seek my own interests?
Tell me, do I need to correct myself?
I want to empty myself of myself

The world offers to me every day
Dishes just to see me deny you
But I cry out the blood of Jesus
