Hands
These hands that God gave me
Were made to serve
The neighbor next to me
Who no longer knows how to smile
Through my hands
I intend to show him
The smile of Jesus
Consecrated hands
For the cause of love
Dedicated hands to the service of the Lord
Hands concerned with joining Jesus'
Hands that do not fear the encounter with the light
In the sky, in the sea, in the flower
There's a detail of love
There's also in the sunset
The poetry of the sunrise
In the natural beauty
I contemplate the fingerprint
Of the hand that created me

Will unite in the ideal
Of showing that His cross
Is a very real fact
