Castelo Forte

A mighty fortress is our God
A refuge and strength
With His power He defends His own
And delivers them promptly

He destroys the cunning wiles of Satan
In order to defeat him
With His unparalleled power
And provides us rest and peace

If demons wanted to devour us
Countless demons
Would not scare us
Nor would we be defeated

The great accuser of the Lord's servants
Is already condemned
He will fall defeated
By just one word

Yes, the Word will prevail
We know for sure
And nothing will scare us
With Christ as our defense

If we have to leave relatives, possessions, and home
Even if life goes away
Jesus is with us
And will give us His kingdom
