God of Providence
Lord Jesus, the hard cross
That I am carrying today
Has brought me troubles
Such cruel days
But even so
Laughing or crying
I go with patience
Because I know that when the sea
Is closed
God from His throne
Takes providence
For it was like this with Moses before the Red Sea
With Gideon before the Midianites
And with Elijah when he called for fire
I know Lord if I never stray from Your presence
Hell may rage
You will win for me
Taking providence
If I go to sleep thinking about the struggles
And when I fall asleep
I soon forget the problems
Because I trust in You
In the morning I feel in my chest
Immense joy
And by faith I can already walk
And if the fight comes
God takes providence
