To those who see me here praying with the Bible
It's hard to understand what I've been through
I was a cocky drunk
Aggressive and vain
And my worst enemy was me

How many times did I make my family cry?
I drove my neighbors crazy
But there's a carpenter who straightens the crooked
And it was in his hands that I found my way

And my life is different now
Today I live with Jesus
I'm guided by the shine
That’s in his light
And my life is different now
With Jesus, I'm happy
Everything in me has improved 100%

In the early mornings, I lived like a madman
Totally messed up and out of my mind
I thought I was the king
A powerful and wise king
But in reality, my king was the devil

It was after crashing into the world
When everything I planted dried up
And after crying
For those who cried for me
I finally bent my knees

And my life is different now
Today I live with Jesus
I'm guided by the shine
That’s in his light
And my life is different now
With Jesus, I'm happy
Everything in me has improved.
