That image of a broken man
Bleeding, hanging on a cross
Everyone stares at it, all emotional
And fooled, they all say it’s Jesus
My Jesus is the God of Glory and majesty
Knows everything, can do anything, sees all
Only Jesus Christ is the one true truth
Jesus loves you, and he wants to save you.
That picture on the wall in the living room
It has a mouth, but it doesn’t speak, it has eyes, but it can’t see
That dusty painting on the wall
Is just a painted man, doesn’t do anything for you
Jesus is alive, Jesus is the winner
Jesus is my Savior
For two thousand years Christ has risen
And so many people still have Christ on the cross
My Jesus Christ is a glorified God
His Holy Spirit guides me, leads me.
