Friend
The will of Christ that wanted to test me
The things my soul didn’t want to touch
The sorrows, the anguish
Rejections, insults, persecutions
Loaded and full of worries
And struggles, overwhelmed with bitterness
So much that one day I asked the Lord
Why did you bring me to this world?
Kneeling, crying, I said to Him

Better take my life
And He said to me, I love you
Keep moving forward, I’m with you
Don’t lose heart, don’t give up
Don’t stop halfway through
Even with barriers and setbacks, I tell you
Go all the way

Even if you find yourself sad and troubled
Keep fighting against the enemy
Until the end
I ask
Do I have the right to protest?
Can I judge Jesus Christ?
There’s no one, no one
Even if I’m sad and full of lament
It doesn’t matter if I’m in tough times
I keep searching for His path

My God in heaven, I thank you, my great King
Because you reminded me of something
That the one who overcame was Christ
Because He fought and today is Lord of lords
He was brought low and humiliated, then exalted
And today He’s still alive
