Back To Old Days
Murder
Back To Old Days
I want to be a kid again and go back
To those days of dreaming when no one could wake me up
And hear Grandma yelling to calm down because I'm making a mess
Of the house and I'm just laughing
Childhood laughter
Laughter that left without a hurry, just like love fades as time goes by
That life I tell you, flew by in just a moment
And I say it, well, I say it because many times we deny ourselves love in a clumsy way
And the blow of time to the heart, is going to prove me right
My reaction came a bit late
But it's normal, to err is human
No one can predict what fate has in store
To feel that warmth again, I think not even as a favor
You won't find anyone like you
We make a mistake by not realizing maybe, that life is only one and you only live it once
How lazy it is to not take advantage of what you have
Because you never know if that person will be there tomorrow
Since you can't go back to the past
Then you find yourself thinking you'll spend your life remembering that
You were happier than you ever imagined
How sad, you were there and didn't make the most of it.
