How can I want
The blessing to come upon my house?
How can I hope
That my dreams and plans come true?
How will I understand?
If my life is far from the truth I heard
And my steps no longer touch the paths I learned
My argument impoverishes me and makes me think this way
That I am so right and my way of serving is perfect
I say I love my Church and the calling I answered
But I no longer hear the advice and the Word within me
I dream that one day the Good News will spread to the ends
But without holiness
Without faithfulness
Every work heads towards the end
