A garden so perfectly made
Created by God for me
Flowers of every color
Sweet fruits of so many flavors
Gentle animals
A lion playing with a kitten
In every detail, I saw God's love for me
I waited for each evening
With joy and anticipation
For Christ Himself
Would come to visit us in the garden
We talked for hours
It was the happiest moment
He spoke to us about heaven
And His law of love
I knew very well
About the forbidden fruit
Still, I couldn't resist
I listened to the serpent
And then my eyes were opened
I came to know sin
But for every sin
God already has a solution
Even disobeying
He promised me grace and forgiveness
I had to leave the garden
But I didn't lose hope
For the Savior would come here to die in my place
My sin was so great
All of humanity then suffered
But the pure little lamb
Would save the whole world
I am Eve and my story
Wasn't meant to have a happy ending
A garden so perfectly made
Created by God for me
At the end of it all, I will return
To Eden and be happy
