A garden so perfect
Created by God for me
Flowers of all colors
Sweet fruits of many flavors
Kind animals
Lion playing with the kitten
In every detail, I saw God's love for me
I awaited every evening
With joy and anticipation
For Christ Himself
Would come to visit the garden
We talked for hours
It was the happiest moment
He spoke to us about heaven
And His law of love
I knew very well
About the forbidden fruit
Yet I didn't resist
I listened to the serpent
And then my eyes were opened
I knew sin
But for every sin
God already has a solution
Even in disobedience
He promised me grace and forgiveness
I had to leave the garden
But I didn't lose hope
For the Savior would come here to die in my place
My sin was so great
All of humanity then suffered
But the pure little lamb
Would save the whole world
I am Eve and my story
Was not meant to have a happy ending
A garden so perfect
Created by God for me
At the end of everything, I will return
To Eden and be happy
