That day came like a distant echo
Your gaze met mine and the air stopped
Your greeting barely a whisper
In the midst of an ocean of doubts
And I, fearful, was lost in your presence

When you left, time started moving again
But in my chest something was still alive
Something I didn't understand or want to let go of

A man came and asked for you
With eyes full of curiosity
Who was she?
I accidentally called your name out in a low voice
And your image shone like the Moon
On the dark night

I said: Radiant are her eyes
But my words were just shadows
When I compare you to the light
You are a simple soul, without masks
You destroy my world with your natural way
If you adorn yourself, you are a flame
Fire that I can't put out or understand

You inhabit my thoughts
You turn everything you touch into poetry
You walk and the world stops, as if a God
Design the moment for you to shine

You are not tall, but your gaze brings the sky closer
I can almost touch it when you smile
Your smile is the beginning and the end
The refuge of the soul and the heart that seeks you

Your eyes are calm and stormy at the same time
They lose me and they save me
I feel you far and close
As if you were the one who discovers my truth
And I would be naked in front of your love
I would like to stop the moment
Make that moment eternal
The clock would stop
But my soul would keep running
After that image that never leaves me
