A Tu Manera, Dios
Miguel Angel Oroyo Perez
Your Way, God
I walked aimlessly on my own
I stumbled a thousand times, I didn't learn from the world
I wanted to be strong without you by my side
But only pride had deceived me
Tired of running away from your gaze
To fill voids with nothing
My soul screamed in silence
I needed your love, your encouragement
In your own way, God
Because I've already made too many mistakes with mine
I no longer want to be the master of pain
I want to surrender to your sacred forgiveness
Do with me as you will, Lord
That without you I get lost in my own inner self
I closed the door on you so many times
But your grace was always open
Today I leave behind my weary will
I want to follow you with my whole heart
And if I break, let it be in your hands
And if I fall, pick me up early
It's no longer about what I dreamed of
It's about you, and what you see
In your own way, God
There is no higher path nor a clearer truth
I am no longer my own, I surrender to your voice
Take me where your love never ends
Your way
Because mine, only took me further away
Now I am yours
Make me new in your hope
