Deus de Fogo

In the secret chambers of the royal quarters, the king of Syria thought
I’ll set a trap for the people of Israel, but it always went wrong
The king got frustrated and even suspected there was a traitor
Someone who knew the plans and warned the Lord's people every time

He gathered his advisors, told them his dilemma, and demanded an explanation
One of them spoke up and began to explain the real situation
No one was spying; the problem was Elisha living in Israel
Everything the king thought, the prophet was informed by heaven's command

So the king of Syria gave an order
Soldiers, capture Elisha!
When they learned he was in Dothan
They went at night to arrest him by morning
The servant of the man of God woke up early
And when he saw the enemies, he was afraid
What are we gonna do, my Lord?
He exclaimed in desperation
But Elisha spoke like this

Don’t be afraid; those who are with us are more powerful
Those who are with us are more in number
Open his eyes, Lord, so he can see!
And he saw horses of fire, he saw chariots of fire
He saw the hills covered, and they were thousands, thousands of fire
God has a wall of fire protecting, guarding His people
Calm down, be still, for you serve a God who is fire
It’s pointless to plan, to set traps against the church
For the God who is fire sees everything and fights for us

God has a wall of fire protecting His people
God has angels of fire to guard us
God is a God of help, the Almighty
The hidden and the concealed He will reveal
Every trap and every ambush
Against you will never prosper
I see the chariots of fire guarding your house
A command of fire is accompanying you
You may not see it, but there are angels from heaven guarding you, guarding you from heaven
