Travieso
Matilda (The Musical)
Mischievous
Jack with a bucket
Heading out to find
A bucket of water from the mountain
It fell down
What happened was pretty obvious, you see
It was written that way and so it went down
They were doomed by their own story
Romeo and Juliet too
Their fate was already written from the start
Destiny, love, and a bit of clumsy adversity
Kept them from enjoying a happy ending
It turned out a bit bloody for both
Why didn’t they try to change their story?
They ask us to just accept it and it’s true
And sometimes you gotta be a little mischievous
I know why your life is so messed up today
You’re just suffering injustice by accepting
That there’s nothing to do but endure it
It’ll stay the same
Being small doesn’t stop you from doing something big
No more letting little things
Get in your way
If you let them make you feel clumsy
You might think that you believe that’s okay
And it’s not okay
And if it’s not okay
You gotta make it right
On the verge of fixing what wasn’t right
The war begins, it’s subtle and discreet
The air started, then it turned into a storm
The wasp is small but has the worst sting
Starting with a small detail
The whole sea, wave after wave, jump
If your story is your prison and you want out
You shouldn’t cry, shout, or moan
'Cause even small you can be huge
No more letting little things get in your way
If you let them make you feel clumsy
It’ll stay the same
I know why your life is so messed up today
You’re just suffering injustice by accepting
That there’s nothing to do but endure it
Maybe you think that you believe that’s okay
And it’s not okay
And if it’s not okay
You gotta make it right
No one’s coming to solve it for me
No one’s coming to change my story
Sometimes you gotta be a little mischievous.
