I get into bed to watch
Documentaries about the solar system
It's something I do when I'm feeling down
I don't learn anything but I watch them anyway

I fall asleep
And start to dream
About Jupiter, Venus, and Mars
I fly away to another place

I float in the air
No dangers or enemies
I think I found my destiny
A place where there's no one
It's not the reality I live
It's enough to drive you crazy

God didn't come to save me
He never truly existed
In the end, I was always alone
Facing my demons
I open my eyes, I'm here
Back in reality
I wish I never had to come down
I feel great up here
Let me stay a little longer

I didn't realize that by closing the door on pain
I also closed it on love
And now I have to live in solitude
But this time that passed helped me understand better
And now no one can bring me down
