Ten thousand eyes have seen Your power today
The miracle of multiplication
Today Your hands have satisfied
All my need
But my soul longs for more of Your presence

I don't want to be among the five thousand who enjoy the miracle
I prefer to be among the twelve who gather the pieces
And spend the night awake together on a sea of silk
Conversing with the Master until dawn

I know there are twelve more baskets of provision
And Your eyes still look at me with love
I don't want to return like that crowd
Let me be a disciple, Lord

I no longer just want to receive Your bread
My soul wants to truly know You
To dwell in Your presence, wake up next to You
So that Your image may be formed in me because:
