Holy Spirit Come
He loved us and made us love him, and a cloud hid him
But before leaving he left us a legacy
And he told us he would come like a burning fire
And even though we didn't understand him, our hearts burned
And so many years have passed and today the hunger is even greater
That's why today we come to tell him with our hearts
Holy Spirit come upon me, I want to be an altar for you

Make us feel your fire even closer and more real
And shape our lives, guide us to the truth
We long for your presence, your person, and your power
And may all barriers that still prevent us from seeing fall
