The gaze of God is great and no one hides from this gentle gaze
He is attentive to everyone as He contemplates all the time
He probes your life, where you go, He will not leave you
He said: Behold, I am with you! He is with us, you can trust
The gaze of God is so deep

It overcomes our struggles
Sets our boat out of the tide
When you let go of the struggles that sometimes arise to assail you
How many times you cry because you don't see the end of the fight
Always look to the side, see your state, and start to cry
But now I say wait, do not despair, God will help you

If you let Christ bless you as a kind Father
He comes cutting the ties with His firm steps through the great sea
