A Escuridão Noturna

The weeping may endure for a night
But joy comes in the morning

The night darkness has passed
And the Morning Star I can see
The weeping all night long didn't stop
But I feel joy reborn

And very soon, the Sun will shine
And the flowers will bloom again
I know, when the day breaks
I will sing again, my lips will smile

It rained, it rained all night long
It was a summer rain, a passing cloud
I know, it's pain, it's struggle, it's a test
But when victory comes
My faith renews

My hope did not die
A new experience for me
And if a tear was lost
It served to water my garden

The angel of the Lord gathered them
And carefully took them
