Peregrino

Pilgrim and stranger
I’m walking homeward
Through mountains and valleys
You’re the light that guides me

Storms and deserts
I will face
But I trust in the words
Of the faithful, good shepherd

I keep moving forward, trusting
Not fearing what’s to come
For one day in an instant
I’ll be with you

Eagerly I long
For that day to arrive
And in the glorious homeland
With the King, I will reign

Oh, what a glorious day
Through the gates, I will enter
And we’ll walk together
Through the streets of the eternal home

And when the hour finally comes
When I face death
Without fear, I will have victory
I’ll see in glory, my Jesus is alive!
Because He lives!
