Longe da Igreja

Far from the church but every day I pray
To God every day I ask
To illuminate my path
And bless all my steps
And protect my family
And bless all those I love

From my boys to my brothers
And everything I ask, God has given me
Sometimes delayed, but has given me
But sometimes has also taken away

But God knows what He does
So I don't walk worried
And whenever I fail, I pray on my knees
Asking for forgiveness for every sin
Asking for forgiveness for every mistake

Because sometimes I haven't been a good son to Him
Because sometimes I don't show love
But I know God hears me
So, for each day and for this life
For each bread on my table
I thank even far from the church
