I want to see your face, I want to hear your voice
Touch your hands, in the marks of the cross
I want to look into your eyes, contemplate your light
I want to give a warm hug to Jesus

I want to see the archangels, angels, and cherubim
Meet Abraham and all the prophets
I want to walk through the square of the tree of life
See the river of God that comes from His throne

I want to enter the city of beautiful gates
I want to see its walls of precious stones
I know this great truth is not a dream
The city of gold is not fantasy, but reality

It's the new Jerusalem, the city of my King!
It's the new Jerusalem, the kingdom of my God!
With thousands of saints there
There will be no more tears
There will only be peace for all there

I will fly, I will fly
And in a second, I will be with Him!
Glorified in a body of glory
I will enter the presence of the Most High!
I will sing, I will sing
A new hymn of laughter and victory!
I was invited to the wedding feast
With the Holy Lamb of God
Jesus Christ who rose, gave us eternal life

I want to be prepared, I want to be clothed
In this precious blood, shed on the cross
I want to have my garments whiter than snow
I want to hear the trumpet resound in the heights
And leave this world and forget the wounds
I want to be one of the saved who will be drawn
By the hands of Jesus
