I have a God who when he speaks
It's not like those who frustrate and fail
His promises do not fall to the ground

He is tremendous, he has power
I have a God who when he promises
Crushes hell to give victory

Turns captivity with his glory
And makes the beginning of a new story
I have a God, he knows everything
No one hides, for he sees everything

And guards his children from the evil that men plan to do
I have a God, who does not delay, does not change
He is the same and will always be
My God is greater than all gods
His name is Jehovah

Makes walls fall, makes lions fast
Makes a way in the sea, makes the earth split
If the giant exalts himself, he uses whom he wants
He humiliates and kills, my God is like that

He helps the poor, comforts the just
But he loves those who are faithful
Sustains the world and the great universe
He is the creator, he dwells in heaven

He makes sadness leap for joy
He heals diseases and drives out evil
Judges the cause of the orphan and the oppressed
He is powerful, he is immortal

He makes and unmakes, commands and rules
Adds and multiplies blessings without measure
My God exists, and has set me on my feet
And only in him do I place my faith
My God is life, sovereign he is
