La Niebla

Today the fog arrived
before you opened your eyes it surprised you
What did you come to look for in the fog?

Welcome to the place
where the paths end as they begin
where time erased our footprints.

Perhaps you are not real
tails or heads.

And you wonder what I'm doing here,
the world I knew
no longer exists, it's not the same.

The fog spits out its song
enters you like a thief
rusting me away.

Today the fog arrived
like a messenger of gray it confessed to me
very soon you will be just earth.

In the wasteland you are
there are a few of us here, you won't see us
nothing seems to change in the fog.

Perhaps you are not real...
