Gongoli (2012)

Gongoli (2012)
Yeah, a verse I needed in my song
A work of art that stands out in the show
Color that brings my painting to life
Sweet juice that washes away my strife
In the sea, you’re my little sailboat
My beautiful Isabela, a white stick for my Nutella
Stars shine when I have you in sight
The planets align if you show me your smile
With colorful lights, from your grin
Cool breeze that we call a win
My skin tingles, without you touching
You make me speak the language of the gods, no rushing
You’re coconut candy that lifts me high
And takes me to the top, no stairs to climb
I want to draw you a nest for little birds
To live there with you until we’re old, my world
I planted cotton and harvested a cloud
To build you a little house in the sky, proud
(And there to live, and there to die, wrapped up with you like a gongoli)
I planted cotton and harvested a cloud
To build you a little house in the sky, wow
(And there to live, and there to die, wrapped up with you like a gongoli)
I gift you a thousand rays of sun
This poetry with a taste of sunflower fun
Your gaze woke up curiosity in my eyes
And easily stole my pants, no surprise
Let’s go every day to splash with cups
And every night have belly button meet-ups
Join your flesh and mine to make little tacos
To wake up stuck to your body, no need for a show
I want to drift through the curves of your form
In a Japanese car with the sunroof warm
And I want to float with you in the air, retro style
Sing in your ear to make your skeleton smile
You’re the lime to my tequila
A little cone of poetry, my diva
My heart swells when you mix
Your lips with mine, creating perfect kicks
I planted cotton and harvested a cloud
To build you a little house in the sky, loud
(And there to live, and there to die, wrapped up with you like a gongoli)
I planted cotton and harvested a cloud
To build you a little house in the sky, wow
(And there to live, and there to die, wrapped up with you like a gongoli)
