Versos perversos

My verses are wicked fruits
And they don't sprout out of nowhere
Contrary to this widely spoken thing
Of inspiration coming from the ethereal space

I challenge this old argument
I say awake and dreaming, I persist
Verses are fruits with serious flavors
Insomnia, loneliness, or discontent

Verses are almost like a will
Left by shady men
